Weddee joined the BDEA Humanities Department in 2020 as a Literacy Specialist. Before coming to BDEA, she worked as an inclusion specialist and a literacy intervention director at Charlestown High School. In the summer of 2017, Weddee spearheaded the Summer Reading Program, modeled after the award-winning program of Boston Arts Academy. Mrs. Neufville-Henry holds a B.S. in Mass Communication from Boston University, an M.Ed. from the University of Massachusetts, Boston in Educational Leadership, and a C.A.G.S. in Communication Disorders – Reading from Mass General Institute of Health Professions.

She is a firm believer in life-long learning, independent/ documentary films, and being in nature. She is married with two children and a cat.
