Sasia Doman is the new Family Liaison staff; part of the student support team. She brings with her a background in education, mental health, and advocacy. Sasia was born and grew up in Dorchester, MA. She received her initial exposure to education through the Metco Program, attending school in Brookline, MA. After graduating high school, she became a corps member of City Year Boston in 2008, serving out of the James W. Hennigan School in Jamaica Plain. Sasia attended the schools of Bunker Hill Community College, Lesley University, and Umass Boston, wherein she attained degrees in criminal justice, psychology and mental health counseling. Sasia worked in the early childhood education field for 10 years as an educator and family advocate. Sasia began her BSP experience in the Roxbury YMCA’s BPS lead kindergarten program in 2016, and transitioned to the McKinley South End program in 2018. She worked with students, families, and staff, providing family, academic, and social emotional support services. Sasia is excited to begin her new journey with Boston Day and Evening!
